About
Ngerulmud is the young capital of Palau, established in 2006 when the government moved its offices from Koror, the former capital. Located on the country's second-largest island, Melekeok, the capital is near many significant stone sights, including Odalmelech, traditional gods carved from stone, Lomech er Ngii el mora Ngeremecheluch, an ancient stone path, and Did el Bad er a Beriber, a stone bridge near an ancient dock.
