About Onez
Onez is an atlas of the world. It is a place to learn about every place on the planet, from continents and countries to cities, oceans, mountains, places to visit and the curiosities in between.
What we cover
Our subject is the whole world. This includes the continents and the countries within them. It includes cities and the places worth visiting in them. It includes the oceans and the mountains, and the details and curiosities that make each place its own.
How we build our information
Our content is built from research, verification and firsthand work. We design our own maps to describe each place. We add our own pictures. We gather information from reliable sources and check facts before we publish them. We do not state superlatives or claims we cannot confirm.
Contributions
Part of our information comes from the people who know these places. Travelers and photographers submit pictures and information about the places they visit. We review these submissions before they become part of the atlas.
Who we are
Onez is founded and built by Jhosé Mora Féria, a web architect whose work and identity are at jhose.com. He architects, designs and builds the atlas. The site is independent. It is not owned by a government or by a platform that sells rankings or placement.
