Uralbergen

Uralbergen

The Ural Mountains are a long mountain range in Russia, forming the natural border between Europe and Asia. They stretch for about 2,500 kilometers (1,550 miles) from the Arctic Ocean in the north to Kazakhstan in the south. Most of the Urals are in Russia, and a small part reaches northern Kazakhstan. The highest peak is Mount Narodnaya, which is 1,894 meters tall. The mountains are not as high as the Alps, but they are important for separating continents. The Urals are also rich in minerals and metals!
