LLM

This post was last updated by José of onez on Sunday, 23 February 2025.

A Large Language Model (LLM) is a type of artificial intelligence that can understand and create text like a human. It learns from a huge amount of text and uses patterns to answer questions, write, translate, and more. Examples include ChatGPT and other AI (artificial intelligence) tools that help people with writing and problem-solving.

What is the difference between LLM’s and AI

LLMs are a type of AI, but AI includes many other things, like robots and self-driving cars.

  • AI (Artificial Intelligence) is when computers or machines can think and solve problems like humans. AI helps with things like recognizing faces, understanding speech, and making decisions.
  • LLM (Large Language Model) is a special type of AI that focuses on language. It learns from a lot of text and can write, answer questions, and even translate languages.
