Thanks to my web development background, I’m putting it all together on this website. And because I love to share, I’ll keep it online for you… for free!

But why do we travel?
We travel for more than a thousand reasons (and I’m not exaggerating).
When we travel, we experience new things that stimulate our brain. Seeing new places improves our visual scanning and spatial navigation skills, activating parts of the brain like the parietal lobes.
We also get to enjoy new smells, tastes, languages, activities, exciting discoveries, and views. These experiences wake up our senses, help us grow, and refresh us from everyday life.
Travel also boosts creativity, helps us learn, makes us grow, changes our sense of time, allows us to find ourselves… and simply makes us feel good!
Even if the effect of travel is common to all, everybody travels for a different reason!
Personally, I travel for
- Climbing
- Surfing
- Tasting new food
- Relaxing
- Learning
- Meeting people
- New experiences
- Photography
- Walking on the beach
- Learning about a city
- Learning about a country
- Enjoying nature
- Sailing
- Working better
- And finding inspiration in every corner of the World!
So I asked some of my friends…
Some of the reasons why they travel:
- Discover a country by bike
- Experience living on a boat
- Sleep in an old traditional winery (wine farm)
- Travel with the seasons, from winter to summer
- to attend a wedding
- study at a university abroad
- find a dream job
- or simply go visit a relative who is living abroad
… and after some of my friends read this, they told me they know a guy who:
- spent 10 days in another country training paddle with a high-level coach
- attended a yoga retreat
- watched a sporting event
There are many reasons to travel—each of you has your own!
If you don’t know where to start, start by choosing a country!
